Cases Study – Little Gransden

The Client came to Anglia Fireplaces as we had installed a wood burning appliance for them in another room around 10 year previously, The wanted to remove an old brick open fireplace with something less imposing and as efficient as their other wood burner.

So they came into the showroom to see what their options were

Having looked at many of the closed inset appliances and with the restrictions their chimney offered, the client liked the compactness of the Capital Sirius inset multi-fuel appliance, as it was a closed appliance, but also gave the advantage of convection as there room was long. The installation involved removing the old brick fireplace and relining the chimney with a flexible metal liner. Installing the appliance and a new fireplace making good where their old plaster was removed whist removing the brick fireplace. The fireplace was a design called “The Sutton” made from Mocca Crème marble stone with a Ivory fantasy granite infill and hearth.

The change to the room was spectacular. New found space as well as a lighter feel to the room. The customers have said the fire works beyond there expectations and with the heat form the fire, they hardly need their central heating
